Register for Youth Leadership Afterschool Program 2024

The Bantu Hope Foundation’s After-School Program is all about giving Somali Bantu youth in Columbus, Ohio, the support they need to thrive. We work with 50 students from kindergarten through 8th grade, providing them with tutoring and homework help to keep them on track academically. But it’s more than just schoolwork—our program also focuses on building leadership skills through workshops, group activities, and mentoring, helping students gain confidence and prepare for the future. We also make sure to celebrate and preserve their Somali Bantu heritage with cultural activities that remind them of their roots. Community involvement is a big part of what we do, encouraging students to take part in service projects and events.
