At our camp, we believe that leadership is a vital skill that can be developed at a young age. Through dynamic workshops, team-building activities, community partners, and mentorship from community leaders, we cultivate essential leadership qualities such as communication, critical thinking, self-awareness, and empathy within our youth. Our goal is to empower campers with the confidence and skills to become compassionate leaders who positively impact their communities!

Prevention Education

In addition to leadership development, we are committed to drug prevention and ensuring a safe environment for all campers. Our dedicated staff creates a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where campers can freely express themselves and engage in meaningful experiences, free from the influence of drugs or harmful substances. We prioritize their well-being and provide the tools and knowledge necessary to make informed choices, empowering them to lead healthy and drug-free lives.

Embracing Culture & Diversity

Our camp embraces and celebrates Somali Bantu culture. Campers have the opportunity to explore their heritage through engaging activities, cultural workshops, traditional games, and arts and crafts. They will learn about the rich history, traditions, and values of their respective families, fostering a sense of pride and connection to their roots. Through this immersive cultural experience, we aim to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of each participant’s culture, strengthening their identity and promoting cultural diversity.
